Canada Goose, a very stylish Canadian brand.
The story of Canada Goose started with Sam Tick, an entrepreneur and somewhat of a visionary at heart. In 1957, he decided to create Metro Sportswear, a company specialising in wool jackets and snowsuits. His son-in-law joined the business a few years later and took the company in the direction of men’s sports clothes. He developed a machine for inserting padding into jackets and founded the brand Snow Goose which would subsequently become Canada Goose. Since then the label has dressed leading sportsmen as they face the most extreme of cold weather conditions. The brand now has an international reputation and is present in a total of 44 countries. As well as producing clothing for adults, the brand has diversified into apparel for decking out children from head to toe.
Clothing made with very high-quality materials.
The Canadian brand which is immediately recognisable by its logo has produced collections of parkas, padded jackets and blousons to keep kiddies snug and warm through the coldest of winter months. To that end, the materials used are always of very high quality. What makes all the difference here is insulation and innovative materials. What's more, production is local and undertaken in ethical conditions, in the most environmentally-friendly way possible. The fabrics used are either lightweight, warm, breathable and/or tear-resistant, as dictated by different situations.
