"When there are 100 BILLION garments produced year after year, the immediate and future impact of decreased wear is quite alarming. If the fashion industry is making more garments, but consumers are wearing them less, where do all the garments go? At this point, we know that two thirds of all textiles eventually make their way to a landfill.

The sheer volume of waste breaks my brain 🤯

While there is no perfect solution @vestiaireco comes pretty close and I am proud to partner with them to spread awareness. 

We all own items we don’t wear anymore for a multitude of reasons. (..)... Vestiaire allows you to give that clothing new life and it fulfills our responsibility as a consumer to keep the pieces we own out of the landfill."
