Rare Vintage Hermès Chaine d’Ancre Necklace – 80cm – Signed – French Crab Hallmark – Gaetan de Percin – 1960s–70s

A rare and exceptional vintage Hermès Chaine d’Ancre necklace dating from the 1960s to 1970s, crafted in French silver 800 and bearing three crab hallmarks (poinçon de crabe) indicating silver purity of 800/1000 — a highly unusual specification for Hermès, making this piece especially collectible.

This striking necklace is signed Hermès and also features the maker’s mark of Gaetan de Percin, a renowned Parisian silversmith who produced jewelry for Hermès during the mid-20th century.

The necklace showcases the iconic anchor-link design in a beautifully balanced and wearable 80 cm length. Each link measures approximately 13.3mm in height and 7.3mm in width, resulting in a graceful and elegant silhouette. With a total weight of 95.8 grams, this piece offers a substantial feel while remaining comfortable to wear.
