Jacques Marie Mage × Haider Ackermann
“Melchior” Limited Edition Sunglasses – 43/200
Exceptional Jacques Marie Mage × Haider Ackermann Melchior sunglasses, created as part of the exclusive collaboration between the cult Los Angeles eyewear house and renowned designer Haider Ackermann.
Inspired by Bob Dylan’s unmistakable style, the Melchior has a bold, sharply sculpted rectangular silhouette with a strong beveled brow and substantial proportions. The front is handcrafted from thick 10 mm transparent crystal plant-based acetate, contrasted with dramatic double-laminated temples in a mottled black, amber and ivory tortoiseshell pattern. Deep purple-tinted lenses add to the distinctive, slightly mysterious appearance.
Finished with refined metal hardware, exposed engraved wire cores, custom hinges and discreet nautical-inspired detailing. The temple interiors carry the Jacques Marie Mage hallmarks together with Haider Ackermann’s signature foil-stamped in silver.
Handcrafted in Japan and individually numbered 43/200, making this an exceptionally rare and highly collectible pair from a worldwide edition of only 200 pieces.
Presented in excellent condition with its original protective case, luxury presentation box, cleaning cloth and numbered certificate of authenticity.
