The Persol PO9649S 96/56 is a contemporary, slimmer evolution of the brand's legendary 649 aviator silhouette. Originally handmade in Italy since 1957 to protect Turin tram drivers from dust and glare, the classic 649 became an industry icon.

This modern "S" (solar/slim) version reinterprets that legacy by retaining the characteristic shape but carving it into a noticeably finer, lighter, and more comfortable frame.
