An exceptional piece of French horology! This magnificent LIP (Besançon) pocket watch, in a utilitarian/railroad style, dates from the 1920s-1940s. It combines history with understated elegance.

Features & Condition
Dial: Immaculate white with black numerals (1-12) and red markings for the 24-hour display (13-24). Small seconds at 6 o'clock.

Case: Nickel-plated (estimated) with a double case back, protecting the movement. The outer case back is adorned with a superb sunburst guilloché pattern.

Movement: Mechanical caliber with manual winding and an A/R regulator.

🚨 RARE Condition: The internal mechanism is IMPECCABLE, without any trace of oxidation or rust! An excellent starting point for a restoration.

🛠️ Note: Having not been worn for over 20 years, a complete overhaul (cleaning and oiling) by a watchmaker is essential to guarantee its accuracy and future proper functioning.
