THIS WATCH WAS WOUND DAILY (APPROX 30 HALF TURNS) AND RAN SMOOTHLY OVER AN OBSERVED PERIOD OF ABOUT A WEEK. IT WAS ABOUT 1 MINUTE SLOW AFTER THAT TIME. ALL AUTOMATIC AND MECHANICAL WATCHES OF THIS AGE SHOULD BE SERVICED TO MAINTAIN FUNCTIONAL HEALTH AND ACCURATE TIME KEEPING. IT HAS NOT BEEN SERVICED WHILE IN MY POSSESSION. I NORMALLY SHOW THE MOVEMENT BUT I DID NOT HAVE THE APPROPRIATE TOOL AT THIS TIME.
THE MIDO SUPER-AUTOMATICS ARE TECHNICALLY AUTOMATIC WATCHES WITH A HAND WIND OPTION. THE WATCH WILL BEGIN TO RUN WHEN SHAKEN BUT I'VE OBSERVED THAT IN ORDER TO KEEP IT GOING FOR A CONTINUOUS TIME YOU HAVE TO WIND IT AT THIS POINT. SERVICING IT MAY BE NEEDED TO IMPROVE THE AUTOMATIC CAPABILITY.
Good overall used physical condition. Visible marks and cracks on the crystal. Some marks on the watch band, crystal and case from handling and storage. Can benefit from some polishing and cleaning. Please refer to the pictures for more
