Oris

Oris presents the Hank Aaron Limited Edition, a timeless Big Crown that retraces the story of a great humanist.
Just like people who give watches to mark special occasions, Oris has created a watch in memory of one of baseball's most remarkable men. The Hank Aaron Limited Edition pays tribute to the extraordinary life and humanitarian work of Hank Aaron, a player who dedicated his life to improving the lives of others.
This Big Crown Pointer Date features nods to the record-breaking career of this great man. The blue, red, and white color palette is inspired by Hank Aaron's famous baseball uniform. The palette is subtly employed to reflect Aaron's humble attitude: the red numerals are surrounded by blue, the blue minute ring that runs around the dial is outlined in red, and the blue leather strap features white stitching reminiscent of the seams on a baseball glove. It comes with an interchangeable blue, red, and white NATO strap, and a strap-changing tool.
The watch features a 40 mm stainless steel case, round and smooth; a pointer date hand; a fluted bezel reminiscent of our pilot watches; and an oversized crown, first added to an Oris watch in 1938 as a device for gloved aviators. The case back is engraved with a motif representing Hank Aaron and his famous batting stance, another element that distinguished him in the world of baseball.
Oris is producing 2,297 pieces: one for each of Hank's RBIs (runs batted in), which remains a Major League Baseball record. Additionally, the watch supports the work of the Chasing the Dream Foundation.
