Beautiful Byblos Jacket from the Vis à Vis line, size 46IT Vintage Men's.
This jacket is a piece of Italian fashion history. It is a vintage blazer from the Vis à Vis line by Byblos, dating from the late 80s or early 90s.
Byblos was one of the most innovative fashion houses in Italy, known for launching the careers of legendary designers (like Gianni Versace and Guy Paulin). The "Vis à Vis" line rode the wave of the "metropolitan safari" style that was very popular at the time.
The Design: The deep blue color (almost tending to purple) combined with the contrasting details on the small pockets (looks like velvet or dark corduroy) is typical of the casual luxury of those years.
The Lining: This is the real touch of class. The vertical stripe pattern with the tropical "Vis à Vis" crest immediately conveys a high-end resort aesthetic.

Questa giacca è un pezzo di storia della moda italiana. Si tratta di un blazer vintage della linea Vis à Vis di Byblos, risalente alla fine degli anni '80 o all'inizio degli anni '90.
Byblos è stata una delle case di moda più innovative in Italia, nota per aver lanciato carriere di designer leggendari (come Gianni Versace e Guy Paulin). La linea "Vis à Vis" cavalcava l'onda dello stile "safari-metropolitano" molto in voga all'epoca.
