A wonderfully thick & HEAVY leather jacket from Chevignon.
This jacket is made of calf leather, and is well worn in. And also deliberately sanded like this, to obtain the deliberate 'vintage' effect. As mentioned, a thick version. Really something for the coming cold period!
All fabric parts are tiptop, clean and fresh! The zipper runs fine! Various inner pockets in a neat, odorless black fabric lining. A jacket with press studs and a zipper, nice!
The leather is neat, does have some staining in a few places - but that makes this jacket even more beautiful. And, unlike the others of the same type that are now for sale, this jacket has a somewhat red appearance... Brown/Red, I would say.
The press studs of both inner pockets have come loose (photos), but this can certainly be repaired! All other jackets of this type that I have sold in the past, had (unfortunately) the same problem.
The (imitation) fur collar is fixed and cannot be removed. The color is somewhere between brown and a bit gray - still chose brown as a designation!
This XXL fits like a spacious XL.

ALGEHELE STAAT: 8,9/10
Een geweldig dikke & ZWARE leren jas van Chevignon.
Dit jack is vervaardigd van Kalfsleer, en is goed ingelopen. En ook expres zo geschuurd, om het bewuste ‘vintage’ effect te verkrijgen. Zoals gezegd, een dikke uitvoering. Echt iets voor de komende koude periode!
Alle stoffen gedeelten zijn tiptop, schoon en fris! De rits loopt prima! Diverse binnenzakjes in een nette, reukloze zwarte stoffen binnenvoering. Een jack met drukknopen én een rits, fijn!
Het leer is netjes, heeft wel op enkele plaatsen wat vlekvorming – maar dat maakt dit jack nog mooier. En, in tegenstelling tot de andere van hetzelfde type die nu in de verkoop zijn, heeft deze jas een wat rode uitstraling…Bruin/Rood, zou ik zeggen.
Van de beide binnenzakjes, is de druksluiting losgelaten (foto’s), maar dit is zeker te herstellen! Alle andere jassen van dit type die ik in het verleden heb verkocht, hadden (helaas) hetzelfde euvel.
De (imitatie) bontkraag zit vast en kan niet verwijderd worden. De kleur houdt wel het midden tussen bruin en iets grijs – toch gekozen voor bruin als aanduiding!
Deze XXL valt als een ruime XL.
