Issey Miyake

Blue

A-Poc hooded jacket in Issey Miyake.

Beautiful mesh work on the jacket, the tops of the pockets, and the hood.
Cotton/polyurethane blend, machine washable.
Small repaired snags on the mesh of the right pocket, almost invisible, see last photo.
Ironable on cotton.

A-Poc means "A Piece of Cloth." A piece of fabric, as these items are produced by a weaving machine that creates it in one piece, in two dimensions (no additional fabric or sewing). The garment is ready to be removed from its pattern with a snip of scissors, and then it is adjusted to the wearer's body with a snip of scissors (designing the collars, short or long sleeves, bust lengths, etc.).
The fabric, designed like a fishing net, is self-locking and does not fray.
A very beautiful and highly technical garment.

Jacket

A-Poc veut dire A Piece Of Clothe.
