ARCHIVAL TOM FORD SS 2009 — Ultra-Rare African Buffalo & Nappa Leather Jacket (1 of 3) 48 IT

An absolute holy grail for fashion collectors and connoisseurs of Tom Ford’s golden era. This masterpiece originates from the Spring/Summer 2009 Mainline Collection, a period celebrated for its uncompromising luxury, ultra-premium materials, and robust masculine silhouettes.Crafted during the early years of the Tom Ford standalone brand, this specific model represents a level of artisanal craftsmanship that is no longer replicated today, as the house has long transitioned to standard calfskin. The Rarity ("CAPI 3")The internal factory tag explicitly features the industrial designation "CAPI 3". This officially certifies that only 3 pieces of this exact variant, leather configuration, and colorway were ever produced worldwide. This is not a commercial product; it is a piece of fashion history.Materials & CraftsmanshipOuter Leather: 100% Genuine African Buffalo (Syncerus caffer). Renowned for its incredible durability, heavy weight, and a deeply pronounced, unique natural grain structure that gives the jacket an unparalleled tactile presence.Interior Lining: Fully lined in ultra-soft, buttery-smooth Nappa Leather. A hallmark of bespoke luxury—no cheap textile linings were used, making the interior just as luxurious as the exterior.Hardware: Heavy-duty, premium branded snap-buttons with Tom Ford industrial engravings.Specifications & Product CodesBrand: Tom Ford (Mainline / Produced by Ermenegildo Zegna Group)Season: Spring/Summer 2009 (PE09)Model Code: IFQPL06Order Ref: PE0950523/02Article Code: XQ-BFFProduction Lot: P9F00004Color / Drop: 470Size: IT 48 (The most sought-after size globally for vintage menswear)ConditionStatus: Very Good Vintage Condition. The African Buffalo leather has aged beautifully, developing a magnificent character.
