Viktor & Rolf SS2012 Archival Horizontal Ombré Dégradé Jeans

A rare and striking pair of slim-fit jeans from the Viktor & Rolf Spring/Summer 2012 menswear collection. These jeans feature a sophisticated horizontal ombré print, transitioning through various shades of indigo, azure, and soft white to create a tiered, architectural dégradé effect.

Crafted in Italy by the renowned 'Staff International' (the same manufacturer for Maison Margiela and DSquared2 during this era), the quality of the denim and the precision of the print are exceptional.

Condition: Purchased new by me in 2013 and Never Worn! Provenance Care Note - I recently performed a meticulous restoration on these jeans to address minor storage-related age marks typical of light-coloured denim. They have undergone a professional-grade oxygenated soak which successfully lifted the marks whilst perfectly preserving the integrity of the indigo dyes and the crispness of the white bands. The fabric remains robust and the colours are as vibrant as intended for the SS2012 runway aesthetic. They are now presented in beautiful, refreshed condition, ready for a new owner. They are identical in colour after the treatment!

Style: Slim-fit, 4-pocket design with a unique side-seam detail that maintains the continuity of the stripe. The inseam join, where the stripes meet each other, amazingly, they all line up, can you imagine the difficulty of that with jeans?!

Fabric: Premium Italian denim/cotton twill.
