Brioni Palatino Wool Silk Blend Blazer Size 50 40 R Brown Roman Style Trieste

Overview

Beautiful Brioni Roman Style Palatino blazer, made in Italy and retailed through Arnoldi Trieste. This is a refined luxury blazer with a rich brown tone, elegant micro-herringbone texture and a smooth fabric feel created by its premium wool and silk blend.

The composition is especially attractive: 75% wool / 15% silk / 10% other fibre, with 100% Cupro lining. The silk content gives the fabric a subtle natural sheen, smoother hand and more fluid drape than a standard wool blazer. It feels comfortable, elegant and very luxurious in person.

This is a classic Brioni executive piece: discreet, refined and made for buyers who appreciate fabric quality, tailoring balance and quiet luxury rather than loud branding.

Brand

Brioni is one of Italy’s most respected tailoring houses, known for luxury fabrics, executive silhouettes and refined construction. The Roman Style label represents Brioni’s classic tailoring identity, focused on proportion, comfort and understated elegance.

This jacket also carries the Arnoldi Trieste retailer label, adding an interesting boutique provenance. The internal production tag identifies the model as Palatino, fabric code 588/3059, customer 11612-8, line 017, and size 50/40 R.
Fabric

The fabric is the main highlight of this blazer. The label confirms 75% wool, 15% silk, 10% other fibre, with 100% Cupro lining.

The wool provides structure and tailoring body, while the silk adds softness, refined sheen and a more fluid drape. In sunlight, the brown tone develops a subtle bronze/chocolate reflection, which gives the jacket a very expensive appearance.

The texture appears as a fine herringbone / micro woven pattern, elegant enough for business and formal use while still versatile for smart casual styling.
Construction

This blazer features a classic single-breasted two-button front, notch lapels and a balanced Brioni executive silhouette. The lapels are medium width with a traditional gorge line, keeping the jacket timeless rather than trend-driven.

The shoulders appear softly structured with clean sleeve attachment, giving shape without stiffness. The front darts create light waist definition, while the overall fit remains classic and comfortable.

Design details include a welt chest pocket, straight flap pockets, interior pockets, full Cupro lining, four-button cuffs and a single rear vent. The construction is refined, elegant and suitable for office, dinner, ceremony, travel or formal smart dressing.
Design Details

The most distinctive feature is the luxury wool-silk blend. The fabric has a smooth, slightly lustrous finish that immediately separates it from standard wool tailoring. It catches light beautifully without looking flashy.

The brown tone is versatile and sophisticated. It pairs well with grey trousers, navy trousers, cream chinos, dark denim, brown suede loafers, dress shirts, fine knitwear or a turtleneck.

The Palatino model, Roman Style label and Arnoldi Trieste retailer tag give the blazer additional identity and make it more interesting for collectors of older Brioni tailoring.
Fit

Tagged size 50 / 40R.

Based on the measurements, this fits like a classic regular Brioni 50 with balanced room through the chest and a comfortable tailored shape through the waist. It is not a cropped modern slim blazer; it has a more timeless executive fit.

Please rely on the measurements for best fit.
Era / Production Insight

The Roman Style label, Palatino model tag, retailer label and classic construction suggest an older high-quality Brioni production period. These pieces often have excellent fabrics, traditional proportions and a more substantial luxury feel than many modern lightweight fashion blazers.

The wool-silk blend makes this example especially appealing because it combines formal tailoring structure with a softer, more luxurious surface.
