Archival Jean Paul Gaultier Junior 1988/89 Deconstructed Pinstripe Bucke Gibo Blazer Jacket

Archival Junior Gaultier 1988/89 Deconstructed Blazer, Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Pinstripe Asymmetrical Jacket with Buckle Detail, Made in Italy by Gibo, Size IT 42 S/M, Rare Designer Grail

Rare Collector’s Piece: Archival Junior Gaultier Deconstructed Blazer (Circa 1988-1989)
Step into fashion history with this stunning deconstructed blazer from the early years of the Junior Gaultier line. This piece is a quintessential example of Jean Paul Gaultier’s "Enfant Terrible" era, featuring his signature trompe l’oeil (optical illusion) style and avant-garde tailoring.
Design Highlights:
Deconstructed Aesthetic: Features an asymmetrical, built-in pinstripe "vest" panel that creates a layered, complex silhouette.
Iconic Hardware: Fastens with a signature industrial metal buckle and fabric strap, nodding to the "utilitarian" and "bondage" influences Gaultier popularized in the late 80s.
Superior Construction: Produced by the renowned Gibò Co. S.p.A. in Italy, known for manufacturing Gaultier’s highest-quality archival garments.
Era: Likely from the 1988 "Modern Retros" or 1989 "Boarding School" collections.
