This particular batch of Chromexcel is specifically designed for use on the flesh side to remain durable despite heavy use, have a consistent nap that can be handled by soldiers depending on conditions, and maintain its shape while remaining lightweight to foot. Additionally, it has been designed so that the interior has a quality finish that allows the boot to be unlined to reduce weight while providing comfort against the foot, and allowing soldiers to easily dump sand or debris. Using the popular 2030 Last, creating a clean silhouette paired with a clean cap toe and aggressive Vibram Christy sole, natural midsole and stitched construction.
