Superb loafers from the Italian shoemaker Rampin

Rampin was one of the last great Roman shoemakers. From the age of 6, he made shoes with his father. In the 1950s, he arrived in Rome and learned from the great shoemakers. Rome attracted artists, directors, and aesthetes of the era with Cinecitta: Fellini, Visconti, Rosselini, De Sica, Delon, etc.

Rampin set up at 31 Via Quintillo Sella, not far from the legendary Gatto. For 70 years, he created handmade shoes of great finesse for celebrities and heads of state. He received several decorations, including the Order of Merit with the rank of Commander in 1997.

His expertise continues with Masahito Furuhuta, who also worked for Gatto, Messina, and Marini.

📏 Estimated size: 8-8.5 UK (42-42.5)
Outsole:
29.8 x 10 cm

🚫 The shoes are sold without shoe trees or other accessories. Please check the size carefully before purchasing, as no returns will be accepted for sizing reasons.
