Sutor Mantellassi

Blue

Sutor Mantellassi | Authentic Norvegese | Midnight Blue | Fukano Archive | Size 41

[Exclusively from the Fukano Archive, Tokyo]
I am offering a masterpiece of Italian artisanal shoemaking from my private collection: a vintage Sutor Mantellassi from its most celebrated era. This pair represents the peak of the brand's sculptural design and technical prowess.

[Authentic Norvegese Construction]
This shoe features a genuine Norvegese (Norwegian) construction, showcasing elaborate, hand-braided welting that offers both exceptional durability and a powerful aesthetic. It is a rare example of Mantellassi’s heritage craftsmanship.

[Design & Color]
The uppers are crafted in a deep, seductive Midnight Blue—a rare alternative to standard black, providing a sophisticated depth that changes under different lighting. The silhouette features the brand's signature Chiseled Square Toe, a hallmark of Florentine elegance.

[Specifications]
• Brand: Sutor Mantellassi (Firenze)
• Construction: Authentic Norvegese (Hand-made)
• Color: Midnight Blue (Deep Navy)
• Size: Marked 41 (Approx. UK 7 - 7.5)
• Included: Original Sutor Mantellassi dust bag (Note: Shoe trees are not included)
• Origin: Made in Italy ("Lavorato a Mano")

[Condition Note]
The shoes are in excellent vintage condition overall. There is slight scuffing on the heel of the right shoe and some natural wear on the soles as shown in the photos. The leather remains supple and well-maintained within the Fukano Archive.
