Rare & Collectible Paul Smith "New Masters" Floral Velvet Basso Trainers - UK 6 / EU 40

Authentic Paul Smith Mainline "Basso" low-top trainers featuring the striking, limited-edition "New Masters" oil-painting floral print. Made in Italy.

* Size: UK 6 / EU 40
* Material: Premium printed velvet uppers with smooth black leather trim, tongue, and full leather lining. Durable stitched black rubber cup soles.
* Condition: Good pre-owned condition. Velvet print is really vibrant and has no issues at all. The leather is a bit creased from wear, particularly on the heels. Both shoes have been stuffed to keep their shape. The interiors are clean, the gold Paul Smith logos on the insoles has mostly rubbed off but the logos on the tongues and the backs are very clear and look great. Minimal wear to the outsoles.
* Packaging: Unfortunately original box or dust bags. Will be securely packaged in a generic replacement shoe box for transit.

Some info about the rarity of these beautiful trainers:

• Limited Seasonal Run: Paul Smith released the "New Masters" graphic—inspired by dramatic, moody Flemish oil paintings—as part of a highly limited seasonal collection. Unlike the classic Paul Smith signature multi-stripe, which is reproduced year after year, this print was a "one-and-done" runway concept. Once stock sold out globally, it was never manufactured again.
• Premium Velvet Variation: While the "New Masters" print was used across a small selection of apparel (shirts and bomber jackets), it was only applied to a very small batch of their flagship Basso sneakers. Most Basso trainers are made of standard plain calf leather. Finding a pair in the premium plush velvet fabric is exceptionally difficult.
• Complex Material Layout: Because of how the complex fabric pattern had to be matched across the upper shoe panels, no two pairs are perfectly identical. This gives the shoes an almost "1-of-1" custom feel that collectors love.
