Vintage 1980s Massive Custom Harley-Davidson "Live to Ride" Leather Belt

Description:
A spectacular piece of 1980s counter-culture fashion history. This heavy-duty, custom-made leather biker belt was originally purchased in London during the 1980s (likely from the iconic Kensington Market underground fashion hub).
What makes this piece truly unique and a real statement item is its incredible scale and weight. The buckle appears to be an authentic, heavy metal Harley-Davidson motorcycle engine cover (such as a timing or derby cover) that was expertly converted into a statement belt buckle. It features the legendary "Live to Ride, Ride to Live" eagle emblem with a brilliant polished chrome finish.
The buckle is securely assembled to the thick, high-quality black leather belt using heavy-duty "Lobo" industrial hardware screws, allowing for a sturdy fit and authentic custom look.
Specifications:
	•	Era: 1980s Vintage
	•	Origin: Purchased in London, UK
	•	Material: Genuine thick black leather belt, solid heavy metal chrome buckle
	•	Buckle Diameter: Exceptionally large, 17 cm (approx. 6.7 inches)
	•	Total Weight: Heavyweight 500 grams
	•	Hardware: Assembled with authentic "Lobo" fasteners
Condition:
Great vintage condition with a beautiful polished chrome shine. Minimal signs of wear consistent with age, adding to its authentic vintage biker character. A perfect piece for collectors of archival 80s rock/biker fashion or anyone looking for a jaw-dropping statement accessory.
