Vintage Gucci key case – circa 1980 - Dark blue leather & web stripe (Sherry Line) - acceptable pre-loved vintage condition with flaws

Vintage rarity by Gucci from the early 1980s. This bi-fold key case has a timeless design made of deep dark blue smooth leather, combined with the iconic blue-red-blue web stripe (Sherry Line) & the gold-tone clasp with the classic interlocking GG emblem. Features & collector value:
• Inside features the rare gold-embossed crest
• The original serial number of the era (033・115・3017) is embossed in the leather. The original golden hook bar comes from the renowned Swiss supplier Amiet and carries the typical stamps – in that era the quality standard for high-end leather goods by brands like Gucci
• Snap button closes well and the 6 key hooks hold securely. Despite visual flaws (mainly inside, barely visible outside), the case is structurally stable and keeps its shape.
• Compact dimensions: height approx. 10.5 cm – ideal for trouser pocket or small handbags.

Condition acceptable (see detailed photos!):
The case is in pre-loved condition with clear signs of wear visible in the photos:
• Edge wear & cracks: Edge coating partially rubbed off on outer edges and folds. On top edges, the leather shows a few cracks/breaks exposing the lighter base material
• Interior: Deep indentations, scratches, and rubbing marks on the leather inside caused by decades of metal key hooks resting against it. Small hole in the leather
• Web stripe: Textile stripe has only slight pilling and an inconspicuous stain, but sits firmly secured in the stitching all around
• Metal parts: Gold-tone hardware & hook bar show fine surface scratches, rubbing, and typical age-related patina
