Hermès

Grey

Correspondance”

🖌 Designed by: Cathy Latham
📅 Release year: 1999

⸻

📬 Theme:
 • The “Correspondance” scarf is a tribute to the epistolary communication and illustrative tradition of the Hermès fashion house.
 • Each box represents an illustrated vignette inspired by the graphics of old Hermès scarves, as if they were stamps, postcards or postal symbols.
 • Hence the name “Correspondance”, intended precisely as an exchange of letters, images and symbols over time.

⸻

🎨 Colors and graphics:
 • Wide dove grey frame
 • Colored grid with squares in pink, light blue, yellow, red and blue
 • In the center, miniaturized vignettes of the most famous Hermès scarves
 • Hermès Paris writing at the bottom, in a graphic style almost like a postmark

⸻

🧵 Artistic style:
 • Much more graphic and “pop” than your other scarves (more realistic and pictorial)
 • Rich in visual symbols, it is a sort of homage to collectors and enthusiasts of the fashion house

Silk neckerchief

Correspondance”

🖌 Disegnato da: Cathy Latham
📅 Anno di uscita: 1999

⸻

📬 Tema:

⸻

🎨 Colori e grafica:
	•	Cornice ampia in grigio tortora

⸻

🧵 Stile artistico:
