ABOUT | Vintage Hermes “Cavaliers Peuls” scarf designed by Jean de Fougerolle in 1993 in the context of the “Année de l’Afrique”. The Peul are a people from West Africa with an ancient pastoral and nomadic tradition and this scarf pays tribute to their culture and the importance given to the horse and the rider. Scenes of hunting and ceremony are enclosed in oval vignettes surrounded by geometric decorations and enclosed in a dark blue border. 100% silk, made in France.

Scene di caccia e cerimonia sono racchiuse in vignette ovali circondate da decorazioni geometriche e racchiuse in un bordo blu scuro. 100% seta, made in France.
