A beautiful vintage silk scarf from HERMES.

The scarf entitled QALAMDAN was designed by Catherine Baschet in 1990 and later reissued in 2000. 
Persian tradition inspired the intricate multicolored pattern depicting horses and horse riders among flowers, birds and other vegetation. The QALAMDAN , or pen box, was considered a status symbol in Iran during the 18th and 19th centuries.

 The title is printed at the bottom of the design with the Hermes - Paris signature in the right bottom corner with the 2nd Hermes signature and the copyright sign in the upper left corner. 

Measurements: 90cm x 88cm. All the edges are hand rolled and plump and the silk beautifully crisp.
The scarf is in EXCELLENT condition.
