Daks

Magnificent vintage square scarf from the prestigious British house Daks.

Featuring a design that is both classic and resolutely bold thanks to its optical effect, it immediately brings a touch of retro-chic sophistication. It is perfect for tying elegantly around the neck, enhancing a hairstyle (as a headband or braid) or for being originally repurposed as an accessory on a bag handle.

Material: 100% high-quality silk twill, offering a superb fluid drape, a silky feel and a diagonal texture.

Pattern: An artistic and hypnotic Op Art style reinterpretation of the emblematic “House Check” (the famous DAKS signature tartan). The traditional grid combining touches of beige, black and brick red is geometrically distorted here in a play of curves.

Signature and authenticity: The name of the house “DAKS” is printed soberly and elegantly in the lower corner of the border. High-quality detail: The edges feature a delicate, well-rounded hand-rolled hem, a true mark of traditional artisanal craftsmanship.

Excellent vintage condition: The square scarf is in a remarkable state of preservation. The silk has retained its full body, the colors are perfectly contrasted and absolutely sharp, and the hand-rolled hem is impeccable.

Style: The perfect balance between the classicism of British Heritage tailoring and the graphic vintage eccentricity of the 70s/80s. A timeless accessory ideal for perfecting a preppy look, enhancing a beige trench coat or adding a touch of character to a black blazer.

Dimensions: Approximately 55cm x 55cm
