JAPANESE SUNGLASSES LUNETTA BADA NO. 18, ICONIC BRAND, SOLD OUT, CRYSTAL GREY 60-16-146

Founded in 1984 in Daikanyama, Japan, Lunetta BADA was an eyewear brand often referred to as “legendary.” A lone leader in the Japanese eyewear market, the brand captivated many celebrities in the 1980s with its distinctive, minority-chic aesthetic.

After its hiatus in the 1990s, Lunetta BADA was considered little more than a rare pair of vintage eyewear until its highly anticipated revival in 2022.

This revival was made possible by the coming together of artisans, industry insiders, and dedicated enthusiasts whose lives were changed by Lunetta BADA. The models, known for their imposing presence, have been relaunched in Japanese manufacturing quality while remaining true to their original designs.

Never worn. I was going to upgrade to prescription glasses, but decided to go for another pair. The Crystal Grey color is SOLD OUT.
