Condition of the item (Honest assessment):
The item is vintage and has been well used, which gives it a pronounced patina:
Exterior: Presence of wear marks, rubbing on corners and edges (local colour loss), and light scratches/dark spots on the leather on the back.
Interior: Clean overall. The gilding of the markings ("Made in Spain" and signature) is still very legible. Note, a few small dark spots or discreet needle/friction marks on the right edge of the lower flap.
Coin purse section: The inside of the coin compartment shows normal signs of use (blackening due to the friction of coins). The metal mechanism works perfectly.
