A rare and extraordinary collector's backpack by Gianni Versace Couture, from the famous and historic Spring-Summer 1994 runway show. This accessory represents the quintessence of 90s maximalism and baroque glamour, conceived by the legendary designer before his passing.

Made entirely from a magnificent selection of genuine python leather in rock/natural beige tones, the backpack has a flexible sack silhouette adjusted by an upper drawstring and enriched with a double rigid handle for carrying by hand. On the front pocket stands the unmistakable large two-tone Medusa medallion set in a golden brass frame. The backpack is divided into two compartments: the main upper compartment lined in light nappa leather with a zipped security pocket, and an oval base that opens via a 360-degree perimeter zipper. The lower buckles of the shoulder straps display a refined geometric fan-shaped workmanship.

A true archive piece with timeless charm, perfect for vintage collectors and lovers of pre-owned luxury who desire an item rich in history and personality.

CONDITION REPORT: Conservation grade: Good general vintage condition / Signs of time and ordinary use.
- Exterior (Python Leather): The leather preserves its splendid original consistency and geometric pattern. There is a natural and characteristic lifting of some scales on the curves and at the points of flexion, typical of genuine exotic leather over the years.
- Structural signs of use: A small and common tear on the python leather in the upper panel is noted, located just below the gathering of the drawstring, caused by the physiological traction of the cord over time (easily repairable by a specialized artisan, see photo).
- Handles and Contact Zones: The upper handles and drawstring cords show a natural patina from use with a slight darkening and minor surface abrasions, which testify to the authentic lived history of the object.
- Base / Bottom: The oval python base has some shading and halos due to normal placement on surfaces (the model is elegantly devoid of protective metal feet).
- Interior and Lining: The main nappa compartment is clean and well-preserved. The fabric lining of the lower compartment shows the classic yellow halos and shading typical of the age for light vintage fabrics over thirty years old.
- Hardware: In very good vintage condition; the gold plating maintains a beautiful brilliance and stands out splendidly, with only microscopic and invisible scratches from use.

Raro e straordinario zaino da collezione firmato Gianni Versace Couture, risalente alla celebre e storica sfilata Primavera-Estate 1994. Questo accessorio rappresenta la quintessenza del massimalismo e del glamour barocco degli anni '90, concepito dal leggendario stilista prima della sua scomparsa.

Realizzato interamente in una magnifica selezione di vera pelle di pitone in tonalità roccia/beige naturale, lo zaino presenta una silhouette flessibile a sacco regolata da una coulisse superiore e arricchita da un doppio manico rigido per la portata a mano. Sulla tasca frontale campeggia l'inconfondibile grande medaglione Medusa bicolore incastonato in una cornice d'ottone dorato. Lo zaino è diviso in due scomparti: il vano principale superiore foderato in nappa chiara con taschino di sicurezza zippato, e una base ovale apribile tramite una cerniera perimetrale a 360 gradi. Le fibbie inferiori degli spallacci esibiscono una raffinata lavorazione geometrica a ventaglio.

Un vero e proprio pezzo d'archivio dal fascino intramontabile, perfetto per collezionisti del vintage e amanti del luxury pre-owned che desiderano un capo ricco di storia e personalità.

- Esterno (Pelle di Pitone): Il pellame conserva la sua splendida consistenza originaria e la trama geometrica. Si nota il naturale e caratteristico sollevamento di alcune squame sulle curve e nei punti di flessione, tipico della vera pelle esotica con il passare degli anni.
- Segni d'uso strutturali: Si segnala una piccola e comune lacerazione sulla pelle di pitone nel pannello superiore, posizionata subito sotto l'arricciatura della coulisse, causata dalla fisiologica trazione del cordone nel tempo (riparabile facilmente da un artigiano specializzato, vedi foto).
- Manici e Zone di Contatto: I manici superiori e i lacci della coulisse mostrano una naturale patina da utilizzo con un leggero scurimento e lievi abrasioni superficiali, che testimoniano l'autentica storia vissuta dell'oggetto.
- Base / Fondo: La base ovale in pitone presenta alcune ombreggiature e aloni dovuti al normale appoggio sulle superfici (il modello è elegantemente sprovvisto di piedini metallici protettivi).
- Interni e Fodera: Il vano principale in nappa è pulito e ben conservato. La fodera in tessuto del vano inferiore presenta i classici aloni gialli e le ombreggiature tipiche del tempo per i tessuti vintage chiari di oltre trent'anni.
- Hardware: In ottime condizioni vintage; la placcatura dorata mantiene una bellissima brillantezza e risalta splendidamente, con solo microscopici e invisibili graffietti da utilizzo.
