Amazing Made in France Black Vintage Exotic Chanel Wallet on Chain, Python with gold hardware.

Well worn and well loved, the skin is lifting in a few places but with no losses, a good restorer could do wonders. This is not the glossy version, it is matte snakeskin, but could easily be laquered by a professional if you would prefer. There are no tears, no loose stitching to the exterior, the interior card slots have loosened (few loose threads) from either side, however they still function and I still use them. The sticker (can see where it has been on interior leather tab) has been lost over the years as they are wont to do, I'd suggest this is anywhere from 1985-2005 but has been used and loved and it still makes a statement. The chain is heavy, no snaps in the leather (just snake skin lifting) and only surface scratches to the gold hardware throughout, no tarnishing as it has been stored correctly when not in use.

There is NOTHING to stop you using this heirloom pieces as it is, it looks like it has been handed down, and used as a bag should be. However a couple of hundred spent on it should see it handed down again and again. A really easy win is one of the base shapers you can buy from Amazon, will just give the bottom a little more shape and support whilst using.

Chanel prices have increased again, and the market for exotics is wild. A rare thing, and in the most useful of colours, will go with everything. Fits a phone, lipgloss, key, cards in slots, has a zip coin/cash section, a small exterior back pocket (never quite worked out what it was for, but it is handy for an emergency £20 note folded or a travel pass, and another flat paper money section on the interior to the front under branded press stud. Zippers are marked EP (Eclair Prym:often used by chanel) and still have loose but original leather tabs. Some wear to the blackened interior zips, but the main one works perfectly.

Fabulous thing, a real compliment magnet. Priced according to condition, you can pay an awful lot more for a fully restored version.
