Pristine Vintage Christian Dior Black Karung Snakeskin Convertible Clutch Bag.
An absolute crown jewel of master French Haute Couture, archival heritage, and timeless Old Money elegance from the 1970s/1980s.
This breathtaking convertible envelope clutch/shoulder bag is an exceptionally rare, authenticated vintage masterpiece by the legendary house of Christian Dior (Paris).
It is flawlessly handcrafted from 100% genuine premium Karung (Water Snakeskin) in a magnificent, highly reflective glazed jet-black finish (Glazed Finish).
The architectural paneling is extraordinary, displaying an immaculate 3-panel vertical symmetry across the entire front and back facades, resting beautifully on a custom scalloped bottom panel that highlights the metallic branding.
Iconic Branding & Convertible Architecture: Centered proudly on the lower front flap is the magnificent, highly coveted vintage silver-tone Diorissimo script metal emblem, entirely pristine and free of oxidation or wear. The interior features an ingenious, highly fluid convertible brass chain strap design.
Fitted with discrete articulated loops, the fluid golden chain can be entirely tucked inside to instantly transform the piece from an elegant daytime shoulder bag into an opulent evening couture clutch.
Dual-Texture Interior Luxury & Provenance: Opening the polished brass snap closure reveals a spectacular dual-texture interior chamber.
The under-flap facing is fully lined in premium, crisp black genuine Box-Calf leather.
The main structural vault opens into an immaculate, contrast lining crafted entirely from ultra-soft genuine honey-gold plush Suede.
The back wall features a wide horizontal security pouch fitted with a secure, color-matched fine-tooth vintage YKK zipper with an authentic circular ring pull.
Key Features:Brand/Designer: Christian Dior (Paris).
Materials: 100% Genuine Karung Snakeskin, genuine box-calf leather under-flap, genuine honey-gold suede interior lining, and solid premium brass/steel hardware.
