Long wrap coat in natural fur and large red fox shawl collar Vintage 80s

A spectacular coat from the fur salon of Harrods, London, closed in the early 90s. Champagne lining embroidered with the "Harrods" signature. Family provenance, kept since purchase.

The body is made of natural fur assembled in pieces, in tones of red, cream, grey and black. The pieces are mounted in horizontal bands on reinforcement tulle, a meticulous furrier work creating a very sought-after tiger and graphic effect. The large shawl collar is in red fox whole skins: long hair, thick and luminous.

Long wrap cut, matching fur belt, straight sleeves. Champagne taffeta lining.

DEFECTS – please read carefully
Two tears of about 5 to 6 cm at the shoulders: the seams between two fur bands gave way and the skin split along the stitching. The reinforcement tulle is intact and visible in the photos. Simple repair at a furrier (restitching and reinforcement).
As it is vintage leather, reinforcement by a furrier is advised before regular wear.

The price reflects these defects.

The rest of the coat is in good vintage condition: dense fur, intact natural colors, clean lining.

No size or composition tag, which is normal for furs from this era. Size FR 40, adjustable thanks to the belt.

Shoulder width 44 cm – chest 52 cm – length 118 cm – sleeves 38 cm (flat measurements).

Sold as is, defects photographed and described.

Carrure 44 cm – poitrine 52 cm – longueur 118 cm – manches 38 cm (mesures à plat).
