One of the absolute grails for M&FG fans: the mythical pop orange “packable” windbreaker from Marithé et François Girbaud
from the era when the brand was at the peak of French/Italian technical streetwear.
Details:
Ultra pop orange color (almost fluorescent, impossible to miss)
Pullover model (half-zip) with large zipped kangaroo pocket
Adjustable hood with elastic cords and metal stoppers
Folds completely into its own kangaroo pocket → becomes an ultra-compact small bag (perfect for festivals, parties, travel, scooter, running, etc.)
Technical material 50% polyurethane / 50% polyamide
water-repellent, ultra-light and resistant
Made in Italy (period quality)
“M FG FRANÇOIS GIRBAUD” logo screen-printed inside and on the storage bag
Condition: very good vintage condition. The logo is coming off a bit on the pocket but nothing serious
→ No tears, no stains, all zippers work perfectly. Slight normal signs of wear on the interior logo (photo), but nothing visible when worn. Color still vibrant.
Indicated Italian size 44 which is a French 38 but generous cut → fits a current L or a slim XL perfectly (I am 1.75m and wear a size 42 and it fits me perfectly!
Cult piece, impossible to find today, especially in this iconic color. Perfect for festival outdoor event holland NL (Hellfest, Vieilles Charrues, Rock en Seine, Lollapalooza, Dreamnation, Thunderdome, Master of Hardcore, Dominator, Defqon…), sport, sudden rain or simply for an assumed 2000's style.

État : très bon état vintage. Le logo pars un peu sur la poche mais rien de méchant
→ Aucune déchirure, aucune tâche, toutes les fermetures éclair fonctionnent parfaitement. Légères marques d’usure normales sur le logo intérieur (photo), mais rien de visible porté. Couleur toujours éclatante.
Taille indiquée italienne 44 soit 38 français mais coupe généreuse → convient parfaitement à un L actuel ou un XL slim (je fais 1,75m et je fais du 42 et il me va perfectly!
Pièce culte, introuvable aujourd’hui, surtout dans cette couleur iconique.
