Vintage Max Mara short coat in pure virgin wool – Collector's piece📝

A highly collectible piece from the prestigious Italian fashion house, Max Mara.

This magnificent short coat (iconic pea coat style) features a sublime, timeless cream/beige color.

Entirely crafted in high-quality, thick pure virgin wool cloth, it offers the heavy, elegant drape typical of the brand's historical craftsmanship.

Its structured vintage design features details that are rarely found in contemporary collections.

Unique style details:
Material: 100% high-grade virgin wool, warm and truly insulating, far superior to low-cost brands.

Cut: Retro-chic silhouette, slightly oversized, with a very cool trapeze volume.

Closure: Double-breasted closure with superb, large original marbled buttons that are well-sewn and very sturdy.

Collar & Lapels: Generous collar with wide tailored lapels, providing incomparable structure.

Sleeves: Wide kimono-style sleeves, perfect for layering over thick winter knitwear.

Pockets: Two finely piped side slant pockets.

In very good condition. The wool has retained all its original splendor, loft, and softness.

The satin inner lining with the Max Mara logo is impeccable.

Size: IT 38 fits an FR 38-40 due to its vintage cut.

I have included photos with exact measurements laid flat.

A centerpiece for a typical Quiet Luxury wardrobe.
