ICONIC: THE CBK BELTED PRADA COAT

Carolyn Bessette Kennedy wore this exact same coat in the vermillion plaid iteration. It's one of the most iconic pieces that she wore. However, CBK is more often associated with neutral colors and minimalism, which makes this coat in the camel colorway even more CBK than the plaid one. This is also much more effortless to style.

This coat is single breasted and features dark brown resin buttons. It has an inverted pleat in the back. There are 2 slash pockets on the front –one at each hip. Dark brown leather trims the edges of this coat.

This coat comes with a dark brown leather belt that has a resin buckle. The leather is very soft and supple; it hasn't experienced any drying out, which happens on these pieces.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
    Shoulder to shoulder ~37 (seam to seam) - 41 cm across (front, laid flat)
    Armpit to armpit ~43 cm across (front, laid flat)
    Right sleeve ~60 cm (front, laid flat)
    Right armpit to bottom hem ~73 cm (front, laid flat)
    Natural waist ~40 cm across (front, laid flat)
    Length ~91 cm (front, center, laid flat)
    Length ~97 cm (back, center, laid flat, not including collar)

CONDITION: Overall VERY GOOD pre-owned vintage condition with much life left. Light wear consistent with the age and materials of the garment:
   - The bottom button is missing.
   - There is some fading / marks to the leather trim throughout (pictured), notably at the bottom of the front and behind the collar (pictured).
   - The lining in one pocket was re-secured to the coat. after coming loose.
   - Note that the mohair fabric has some pilling and it can leave behind some fibers on other garments.
