Silver

Mason Hosker Ava Maria Cocktail Dress in metallic silver/champagne, women's size 10. Originally retailed for $600.

An extraordinary statement dress from designer Danielle Mason Hosker, the Ava Maria combines a fitted, structured strapless bodice with a dramatic cascading asymmetric skirt. The metallic fabric features intricate raised abstract threadwork over a silver-gray/champagne ground, creating tremendous texture and dimension.

The irregular tiered skirt falls in sculptural layers around the body, giving the dress movement and a dramatic high-low / handkerchief effect from different angles. Fully lined in ivory with a concealed back zipper.

STYLE & AESTHETIC

A striking combination of metallic eveningwear, architectural fashion and modern romantic occasion dressing. The asymmetric cascading tiers and dimensional textile give it an almost sculptural quality, while the silver/champagne coloring photographs beautifully.

Excellent for cocktail, formal, gala, wedding guest, black-tie optional, holiday, Christmas, New Year's Eve, anniversary, engagement, rehearsal dinner, awards event or other special-occasion dressing.

HOW TO WEAR

This dress does most of the work itself. For a polished formal look, pair it with minimal silver, pewter or champagne heels and delicate jewelry. Black accessories create more contrast and make the metallic textile feel slightly edgier, while nude/champagne accessories keep the look soft and tonal.

Because the fabric and asymmetric silhouette already provide substantial visual interest, it also works especially well with understated accessories and a simple clutch.

CONDITION

Previously worn. The exterior remains in excellent condition. Light wear is present on the interior/lining from previous use. Detailed photographs are included so the condition and unusual dimensional textile can be seen clearly.
