Beige

A magnificent two-piece set from Chanel's Spring/Summer 2005 ready-to-wear collection. The jacket and long skirt are made from a 75% linen, 25% silk herringbone weave that catches the light with a subtle metallic sheen - warm sand/champagne in natural light, becoming slightly silvery indoors.

The jacket is cut in a structured safari silhouette with four flap pockets, CC logo buttons throughout, and a fitted western-style back yoke.

The skirt has a fitted high-waist cut that flares gently into a long A-line with a raw frayed hem and a front slit - a deliberately deconstructed finish that seemed very directional for the collection.

Both pieces are unlined, letting the fabric breathe and fall naturally.

Condition: Good overall vintage condition. The jacket has a small pale spot on the sleeve (visible in photos), which is not so obvious when worn. The raw hem on the skirt is intentional - as shown on the runway. No missing buttons, no damage to the zipper.

Linen suit jacket
