Chanel

Black

Authentic Chanel two-piece skirt suit in black silk shantung, from Collection 28 (circa 1991-1993), the early Karl Lagerfeld era for the house. The structured, single-breasted jacket has a peaked lapel and nipped, tailored waist, which is typical of Chanel’s boutique line of the era. The jacket, fully lined in silk, has four flap pockets (two at chest and two at hip) and gold-tone CC buttons throughout, including on the working cuffs. The matching pencil skirt with a fitted waistband and back zip closure is also fully lined in silk.
The genuine gold CC hardware, made in France, and a hard-to-find silk (rather than tweed) silhouette from Chanel's most collectible design era make this suit very special, either as a great layering piece or investment for a serious vintage Chanel collector.
Extra buttons and fabric sample included.
(Please note that vintage sizing runs differently from modern collections.)
