This Chanel AW01 convertible jacket is a rare example of Chanel technical sportswear from the early 2000s under the direction of Karl Lagerfeld. Minimalist, futuristic, and virtually impossible to find in a complete set. The "Identification" line marked one of Chanel's most interesting periods, as it successfully merged luxury fashion with utilitarian clothing. Towards the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, under the direction of Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel launched pieces called "Identification": generally more technical, sporty, modular, and futuristic than the brand's classic Parisian aesthetic.
