Magnificent and rare Dior Bar Mizza jacket in silk taffeta in shades of gray. Fall 2021 Ready to Wear collection. The Bar model is emblematic for Dior and, for this season, Dior celebrates its legendary muse Mizza Bricard. Single-breasted. 3 covered buttons on the front. Two side pockets. Tailored cut that structures the silhouette. Large CHRISTIAN DIOR lettering on the inside Hand-stitched Signature: Christin Dior Made in France Size: 38FRNew, never worn Composition: 100% silk. Retail price: €4,500. Dior's description: "For the Fall 2021 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri reinterprets the Bar jacket, an emblem of Dior style, in a new version that pays tribute to Mizza Bricard, the muse of the founder of the House. In memory of this woman, a symbol of elegance and feline grace, the most iconic piece of the New Look has been embellished with a leopard print. Inspired by a sumptuous coat created by Christian Dior in the 1950s, this emblematic model is re-proposed in an exclusive version, made with unparalleled craftsmanship. The warp threads are in fact printed before being woven, to obtain a splendid mélange effect. Once the fabrics have been cut, shaped and assembled with the utmost care, the Petites Mains add the “Christian Dior” signature. Thus, the Bar jacket finally comes to life. Just like the original, even the buttons are covered in delicate jacquard.”
