Helmut Lang

Blue

This is a genuine Helmut Lang raw denim jacket from 1999, the era when Lang was doing denim better than almost anyone, treating it with the same rigour as his tailoring.
Classic trucker silhouette but with that unmistakable Lang precision in the cut - slim, clean, no unnecessary details. Raw selvedge-weight denim, never washed, so it’s got this beautiful dark indigo that’s just starting to break in. Wears stiff in the best way. The “produced in 1999” label on the inside is a nice touch.
Made in Italy, size 38 (fits like a modern S/M).
This jacket clearly came through Japanese retail, which is exactly where these pieces were preserved best.
