One-of-a-kind piece. Authentic Levi's Trucker jacket (model 70500, size S) entirely transformed by hand — artisanal upcycling done with care and intention.

The modifications:
The original jacket — medium wash denim with a nice patina, Levi's Strauss & Co copper buttons — has been restructured by adding raw ecru canvas panels sewn on the front (two vertical stripes), the back (two side panels), and a rectangular patch on the upper back. These insertions create a strong blue/ecru contrast that transforms the classic silhouette into something much more graphic.

The entire piece is covered with Sashiko embroidery in white thread — a traditional Japanese rice stitch — on the front yoke, cuffs, lower waistband, and back. Each pattern is handmade, creating a dense and regular texture that interacts with the denim's patina.

The result is a piece that borrows as much from American workwear as it does from Japanese textile craftsmanship — two clothing cultures that share the same relationship with time and material.

Base: Levi's 70500 — size S, standard trucker cut, slightly slim.

Work: canvas panels, white Sashiko embroidery, one-of-a-kind piece.

Condition: very good condition, the natural patina of the original denim is intentionally preserved.

Pièce unique. Veste Levi's Trucker authentique (modèle 70500, taille S) entièrement transformée à la main — upcycling artisanal réalisé avec soin et intention.

Les interventions :
La veste d'origine — denim medium wash bien patiné, boutons cuivre Levi's Strauss & Co — a été restructurée par l'ajout d'empiècements en canvas écru brut cousus sur le devant (deux bandes verticales), le dos (deux panneaux latéraux), et un patch rectangulaire sur le haut du dos. Ces insertions créent un fort contraste bleu/écru qui transforme la silhouette classique en quelque chose de beaucoup plus graphique.

L'ensemble est couvert de broderies Sashiko au fil blanc — point de riz traditionnel japonais — sur le yoke avant, les poignets, la ceinture basse et le dos. Chaque motif est travaillé à la main, créant une texture dense et régulière qui dialogue avec la patine du denim.

Le résultat est une pièce qui emprunte autant au workwear américain qu'à l'artisanat textile japonais — deux cultures du vêtement qui partagent le même rapport au temps long et à la matière.
