👗 Description
Ella Singh rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s creating pieces adorned with sequins and beads, and collaborated with Margaretha Ley on sequined designs for Escada during this period. Her brand became known precisely for this kind of bold and meticulous embroidery – hand-applied details of a quality that is now impossible to find.

This bustier is built around a vibrant red base, embellished with a graphic "WOW!" appliqué in yellow and red sequins, highlighted with black beads, on the front. It's pure pop art: a comic-strip-style exclamation, enlarged and created entirely by hand, sequin by sequin.

This structured sweetheart neckline bustier features molded, lightly padded cups and wide straps for support. It has a short length. The back is elasticated for a perfect and comfortable fit and fastens with a center zipper.

Please note the small area of discoloration on the back zipper, mentioned in the "Condition" section above – visible in the photos. This has been factored into the price, although it does not affect the garment's wearability.

💡 Styling Ideas

Wear it as a statement piece: with high-waisted black trousers or a leather mini skirt, and keep it simple so the "WOW!" factor really shines. You can also layer it over a simple black long-sleeved T-shirt for a '90s club-inspired contrast, or wear it under an open black blazer for a more sophisticated evening look.
