VOYAGE Made in England 100% Silk Chiffon Embellished Parrot Blouse – Size 8

An exceptionally rare and spectacular Voyage blouse, made in England from 100% silk chiffon, featuring an extraordinary tropical print and exquisite hand-sewn embellishment.

The blouse is beautifully printed in rich, layered shades of forest, moss, olive and sage green, with soft yellow and lime-green tones, creating a lush, painterly tropical palm-leaf design throughout.

The neckline and centre front are adorned with extensive hand-sewn embellishment, mounted onto delicate mesh and composed of an eclectic mix of colourful beads, stones and sculptural decorative elements. The intricate decoration follows the neckline and continues down the entire centre front. Matching hand-sewn embellishment appears around the back neckline and on the sleeve cuffs, giving the blouse an exceptionally detailed, artisanal finish.

Inside the garment, there is concealed aqua velour detailing, adding a luxurious hidden touch to the construction. The front is finished with concealed, hand-stitched silver hooks.

The back features the spectacular focal point: a large hand-sewn parrot appliqué, covered in shimmering gold and violet-blue sequins, with a richly beaded onyx-style beak and dramatic lime-green and fuchsia feathers. The intricate parrot transforms the back of the blouse into a true piece of wearable art.

There is also a side slit at the hem, adding movement to the lightweight, flowing silk chiffon.

Styling: A spectacular statement piece worn with sleek black trousers or a long skirt. The Miu Miu black hexagonal suede sunglasses shown in my profile would make an especially striking fashion-editorial pairing (sunglasses not included).

A truly extraordinary and highly distinctive Voyage creation — an exceptional combination of flowing silk chiffon, tropical artwork and elaborate hand craftsmanship.
