Dragon Diffusion is an accessory brand that specialises in hand crafted woven leather bags and baskets. Founded in 1985 by Craig Wright, a New Zealander who has laid roots in Brussels, the brand draws inspiration from weaving traditions the world over: from the tribal bags of the South Pacific Islands to Japanese bamboo basketry, and old-fashioned wicker panniers from France and England. The brand transposes these techniques into leather, affording its collection a unique, sophisticated look. Each piece is crafted in Chennai, India, where since the 1960s an abundant supply of goat leather and a historical knowledge of hand-weaving have given rise to a highly specialised skill.
