Vintage 1985 Escada “Midnight Blue/Ink” Satin Crystal Buckle Sandals - 7.5 B

Straight from the golden era of Margaretha Ley, these vintage Escada evening sandals are drenched in a true MIDNIGHT NAVY BLUE/INK. Perfectly sculpted straps pair seamlessly with an iced-out crystal statement buckle. Crystal-embellished ornate accent buckles were signature runway and evening staples throughout the mid-1980s. Classic European opulence made for walking under city lights.

Often mistaken for black due to the deep dye of vintage luxury satin, the “rich inkiness” of the MIDNIGHT BLUE/INK. tone stands out under proper lighting.

When Escada added this fabulous shoe to their 1985 Escada Collection their marketing headlines were: 1985 called—and it wants you to skip the black heels. “Deep. Dramatic. Definitive. Discover midnight blue by Escada." "Sweeter than black. Sharp as the night."
