A typical choice for a full-on Courrèges look would have been a go-go boot to further elongate the legs. But here a pair of patent leather Rochas bootees make the dress 2021 appropriate. This solid and more conservative choice of shoe can tone down a rather unusual and eye-catching dress. Black ankle boots are a classic for fall/winter that survive every closet purge, year after year. Rochas, another French fashion house, prominent for demi-couture garments is still leaning on its past of strongly focussing on quality and design. Elegance always has been at the core of the brand since its founding, almost a hundred years ago, in 1925. Back in the day, the founder was credited to offer an optimistic attitude towards the future, something he and the futuristic Courrèges had in common.
